OUR MISSION

We will shine God’s love and light.

OUR VISION

The Strong family began in 2012 when we chose one another and married. God led us to Kenya, East Africa in 2013 where we set up home for 7 years, being and serving communities we lived within. In 2015, 2017 and 2019 we grew our family whilst letting our faith catch fire, and as we continued to reach out to witness to vulnerable children and families in need of the hope that only God can provide them with. In 2020, we were launched back to the UK, where we continue to serve Kenya from. As we travel to and from these two places we call home, we also look to the future excited at what God has in store.

We seek to put God’s love into action wherever God plants or sends us. We endeavour to lead people worldwide into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ. We wish to see individuals and families reconciled with one another and with God.

OUR CONSTITUTION

Our family will love and praise the Lord. Our family will read His word together and we will seek intimacy with our Father God. Our family love God’s word. We will use God’s word to teach, encourage and guide each other. We will fill our home with scripture and songs. Our family will seek the Kingdom of God and His righteousness. Our family will engage in our community wherever God places us, serving the people that we are surrounded with. Our family will encounter people of this world with love, compassion and grace. The light will reflect off our family into the darkness. We will keep our eyes open to the needs of the widows and orphans. We will be cheerful givers with an attitude of gratitude. We remember that everything we have comes from the Lord and therefore whatever we do, we do in His name. We will trust in the Lord in every circumstance. We are not afraid of bad news because we trust the Lord in every situation. Our family let the peace of God rule in our hearts and we are never worried or fearful of the attacks of the enemy. We know our God has already defeated the enemy. Our family will always be associated with the name of Jesus. Our family will be victorious. We will ask for forgiveness and we forgive each other, as Christ has forgiven us.

We are a blessed family, because we have a hope that is firm and secure!

Jesus answered, “The most important is, ‘Hear O Israel: Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.’ The second is this: ‘ Love your neighbour as yourself.’ There is no commandment greater than these.”

Mark 12:28-34 (NIV)
